Soak in the Scenery

Port Townsend’s parks, parklets and street eateries invite you to be outside and in the moment. Grab a latte or bite to go and spend some time soaking in the waterfront ambience.

Tyler Street Plaza: Right in the heart of downtown Port Townsend, the Tyler Street Plaza, with its collection bistro tables, makes enjoying a cup of local coffee or dining on take-away food fun. You can people watch, listen to buskers, or simply visit with family and friends while enjoying the water view.

Adams Street Park: This little park is on Water Street and is beautifully landscaped with foliage and flowers year-round, and the view never disappoints. There are a few picnic tables and benches available for your use making it a peaceful place to rest and watch the ferries passing by.

Pope Marine Park: Located across from the museum on the Water Street, this park features open grass space making it perfect for a waterfront picnic. It has a children’s play area, and you walk out on the city dock nearby.

Chetzemoka Park: A delight for all ages this park has plenty of shade, plenty of sunny lawn area, stunning water views, beautiful gardens, and a mix of play equipment in two areas. There is a large picnic area that can accommodate groups and funky, but clean, restrooms. You can take a short trail near the bluff down to a beach as well.
